Oktoberfest Lager

The official beer of Truth or Consequences Oktoberfest — Oktoberfest Lager from Truth or Consequences Brewing Company, a Festbier-style lager. Pouring October 3 at Healing Waters Plaza.

Local lager. Downtown plaza. A German afternoon in the desert. Find them year-round downtown at 410 N. Broadway — a stop on the New Mexico Ale Trail — and on the plaza October 3.

About & parking

A German Oktoberfest celebration in downtown Truth or Consequences with bratwurst plates, a beer garden, live music, kids activities, food trucks and vendors.

About the town

Healing Waters Plaza sits in the heart of downtown: hot-springs fountains, a shade structure, planters, and two rows of palm trees — shops, hotels, and restaurants a short walk away. On October 3 the plaza turns into a German-style street fest.

Truth or Consequences was Hot Springs until 1950, when the town took the name of the radio show. Come for the brats and the pints. Stay for the evening. Soak if you want — downtown is still a historic hot-springs district — then walk back to the plaza.
